Raw Materials & Manufacturing Process

Base Material: Particle board (also called chipboard), made by pressing wood chips, shavings, or recycled wood fibers with synthetic adhesives (e.g., urea-formaldehyde resin) under heat and pressure. It is economical, has uniform thickness, and is easy to process, though its structural strength is lower than MDF.
Laminating Process: A sheet of HPL (multi-layer kraft paper impregnated with phenolic resin, compressed at high temperature and pressure) is bonded to one or both surfaces of the particle board via high-temperature, high-pressure lamination. This process ensures tight adhesion, turning the plain particle board into a panel with a durable, decorative surface.

Kitchen/bathroom: Budget-friendly cabinet carcasses (not recommended for direct water-exposed areas like sink countertops).
Office furniture: Simple desks, file cabinets, or reception counters.
Interior Decoration: Applied to non-load-bearing surfaces, such as:
Wall cladding for rental apartments, commercial spaces (e.g., convenience stores, waiting rooms).
Door skins or partition panels (lightweight and easy to install).

Key Note

Due to the lower density and strength of particle board (vs. MDF), HPL Particle Board is not suitable for high-load scenarios (e.g., heavy-duty workbenches) or areas with long-term high humidity (e.g., bathroom walls). For such cases, HPL MDF Board or solid wood panels are more recommended.
